My father was diagnosed with lung cancer. (squamous cell carcinoma stage IV) I think he is scared of the chemo and radiation therapy, because he doesn't want to do it. I need to get him and our family into a support group. I live in central Missouri. Any suggestions?

is there any health insurance that would sell to a breast cancer patient? my mother dont have cancer anymore she was diagnosed and treated in 2004, now we dont have the medical coverage we had so i need to find a new health care insurance company that would sell to us...i called anthem blue today and they denied us becuase my mother medication for her cancer call Arimidex that they dont cover. any cancer patient out there can help me with this? like recommend a health insurance that they are buying from now? i would really appreciate if someone help me out becuase my mom has a new tumor now (after almost 5 year) , and this tumor is in her neck and im really worry about her, and we need health care coverage. thanks.

i had stage 3C ov ca diagnosed june 07 i had intraperitoneal chemo plus IV chemo. ca 125 was 4 after treatment ended in november I am now waitnig for results of ca125 drawn yesterday. I need some encouragement and to hear from some women who have survived this ! ( without losing their minds!)
Has there ever been a 29 year old diagnosed with prostate cancer? I’m 29 with an enlarged prostate.?
Last year I was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate (by rectal exam). I then lost my insurance and went a year without it (insurance). I recently started being seen by a doctor again and during my long overdue followup it was found that my prostate is even more enlarged now (but she said no lumps were felt). She is sending me to urology. She seemed very shocked about this and so am I. My dad was treated for prostate cancer a while back so it is in the family. My PSA last year was 0.4 and I haven't gotten the results from the one done today yet but my doctor cautioned that PSA results tend to not be very accurate in men under 40. I am really worried. Are my concerns without merit? Any professional opinions are greatly appreciated. I sincerely thank you for your time.
A little bit of my medical history. I do have extensive urinary problems such as dribbling and hesitation. Have had these for years. I also have type 2 diabetes, NASH liver disease, spinal stenosis, spinal arthrosis, desicated disc, thecal sac impingement, and more back issues.
If you are a Oncologist , please let me know if there is new treatments better then arimidex?
I've been using arimidex for 2.5 years and my bone density test is showing early sings of osteopenia/osteoporosis. I'm going to my Dr. soon and I want to talk to her about maybe changing/finding new options/treatments. I'm a young female and the reason for using arimidex was to get rid of estrogen due to cancer been estrogen posititive. Is there ANY more hope for my mom?
My mom had pretty bad liver and pancreatic cancer and they just ran out of kimo theraphy and treatments. We have some of the best doctors in the country, and they say that they don't have anything else. But is that REALLY true? There isn't ANY hope? I did some research a long time ago and i heard something about this machine that uses radiowaves to zap cancer cells? What is that all about? Is there ANYTHING else that can help? Doctors say surgery is not a option. PLEASE if you know ANYTHING please help me!

I know to feel for lump/lumps in the breast, but how obvious is the lump? Is it visible and are there any pains involved? I have large breasts and though it feels like a lump, I'm not quite sure and unfortunately, recently lost our health insurance. *Serious question-No jokes, please.*

I'm 15, and very depressed about my weight... i've tried regular diet and exercise, but temptation and stress get the better of me... I feel that the best way to approach weight loss is to enter into a "fat camp" but my family can't afford one. I live in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Is there any fast and free way to lose weight/get fitter?
I'm not overweight/fat, and when I went to the doctors he said I was the perfect weight for my height/age. But I want to lose a bit of weight, so that I feel a bit better for my self. You know?And I am quite fit, I just want to get fitter. Well yes. I already play indoor soccer, and soccer at my school. I walk home, and I am quite active, at night I even do 100+ sit-ups if I feel in the mood (this is not so much for weight loss, more for fitness). None of this has worked, any better idea's?
Just wanting to add, I am sixteen. So if anything drastic is needed, I can probably arrange to do it
