What should I expect from this cancer?
My pop has Colon cancer and they found 9 pollups I think that's what my dad said. They said they needed to start radiation and chemo but my pop is refusing to do any treatment. What should i expect from this?
My Grandfather have been suffering from gout but only developes pain between the 4th-7th of every month?
I want to know what may be causing this. He is a diabetic and has had several surgery's. for hip replacement, prostate cancer (and still receiving medication), renal cancer, and has a heart arrhythmia (which lead to water filling the interstitial space in lower body; which is also receiving medication to help void the excess fluid). Any idea of what could of caused this besides a drug interaction. Especially why pain only occurs during the 4th and 7th of every month on the dot. (i.e. pollen, lunar cycle)
my mother passed away from lung cancer, but I don’t understand?
She passed away when I was 14, she had discovered she had lung cancer and I'm not quite sure how long she had it, I don't remember much, but it wasn't that long, maybe a year, but I'm thinking shorter than that. She went to the hospital one night cause she felt pressure on her chest, then they started taking leaders of fluid out of her chest, then shortly after we found out she had lung cancer. She had all the treatments, the chemo, the radiation, then one day she went in for this surgery, they told me she'd be coming home that afternoon, she'd been staying in the hospital for a while, then that afternoon they called me down there and she died. I remember she was laying there, breathing, but not awake, we all just watched her and her breathing was harsh, and after a while of that, they made us leave and that's when she died. I was 14 though and my parents didn't talk to me about any of it, I'm 20 now and I'm really just wanting to know how exactly did she die. I thought I heard that possibly they went in for the surgery and during it realized that the cancer had spread worse than they thought, and then she died. Is that possible? I also think I heard someone mention that she had a brain tumor happen also, but I'm not sure. I can't really ask my dad, we don't really talk about it. Does anyone know anything about what might have killed her?
Denise, the hospital DID make us all leave the room. We had to wait outside for about 10 minutes and when we came back in, she had already died.

There is blood when I poo.. ive read it could be anything from hemmroids to colon cancer. Help!?
For some reason Ive never quite pooped "right". I always would take a longer while to get it all out. Back before everything described below happened, it would take maybe 20-30 minutes to get everything out and be done. Ill give you a quick history of my poop paterns lately...
A month or so ago I had to poo after everything I ate. Anytime my stomach got some food in it, it would become very upset and I had to poo quickly after, many times being diareha. This went on for 2-3 days. Then after that was gone, it became very hard to poo. I would have to strain to get it out, and after a while it became VERY VERY painful to poop.. every time I had to poo I would expect going through hell again. I had to resort to a laxative for a couple days, and then I increased my fiber diet and began drinking more liquids, but that only helped a little.
Now, I am still eating more fiber and liquids, but I still have to strain when I poo. It doesnt hurt as much as it did before, but it is still a little painful. The poo was green for maybe no more than a week, but recently it is not. Now there is a decent amount of blood when I poo (there was blood a little before, but not enough to be notable or significant). The blood will first come out on end part (or the beginning part? cant tell) of the poop, and then I wipe just to see if the blood will show on the toilet paper and it does (bright red). I wipe a few more times in hopes to "clean up" the blood. The first wipe has a bunch of blood on it... enough to cover a good amount of the toilet paper wad, but not enough to make it dripping with blood or anything. With the second wipe, the blood is mixed with feces. It maybe takes 3-4 more wipes to get all the blood off.
After researching online, my first thought was hemmroids caused by my straining. But I just checked in a mirror (about 20 mins after I pooed) and I didnt spot any blood or veins coming out (though it is a bit hard to see past the hair). So what could it be? I went to WebMD and selected all the "bleeding" options in the rectum section and it gave me 20 results ranging from hemmroids to colon cancer. I dont know which one of these many things it is.... HELP!!
Any suggestions on the best place for stage 4 cancer on the liver, got it from colon cancer?

My mom was 27 and I 11 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
It was gone for a year.
At 28 it moved to her lungs.
Cancer free at 29.
Age 30 it was hip cancer
Hip cancer for 31.
At 32 she had cancer of her lung, breast, and hip.
At 33 she had cancer of her, lung, breast, hip, and liver.
She was a fighter for sure. She cheered for an allstar parent team for the last two years of her life. She worked part time at a diner. She raised me and my little brother. Was a good wife to my step father. Took are of my grandma who has emphyasema and asthma.
She passed away at the ripe old age of 33 in November 2009. I was 16. My brother 11.
Maybe someone should create a cure, or start forking out money as compensation.
We didnt have enough for the funeral and are slowly trying to pay it off. Chemotherapy and Radiation and X-rays cost alot of money.
So again I ask you.

Yes, it has spread to another place (her spine).
She was diagnosed a little over a year ago.
