Anyone else know how to deal with radiation burns from cancer treatments?

managed to survive three types of third stage cancer, even outlived my doctor, but now dealing with radiation burns and adhesions..incrediable painful..and causing other issues now. Radiation back when I had my surguries they found out later continue to "microwave" the area the beam was aimed at, forever..feels like I could bake potatoes in my abdomen at this point. Few doctors work with natural healing, would prefer herbal/microbiotic type help, not more pills. the cancer was mainly uterine, ovarian and cervival but spread to the bladder, urethreas...now years later..the words the doctors told me are possibly happening..they had said eventually the adhesions would hurt so bad I would return to the hospital to have them cut...but its the cutting that causes adhesions! That doesnt make sense! And any suggestions for internal radiation burns? I HATE drinking herbal concoctions, but will gladly encapsulate..and...yes if I have to, would drink about anything to stop this pain! Help!
I read the queston about why do I keep going back to the doctors, ect...welp: I dont. That was what I was told years ago would eventually bring me BACK into their world of "healing". I have taken charge of my health, or would not have made it 23 years..so, to that person:sorry, but you are off base.

as to the rest, thank you..I do indeed follow a microbiotic diet for the most part..yes, I do slip and have foods at times that my body lets me know within minutes was a bad, bad mistake. no white sugar, lots of water, vitamins, ect. and read the labels of the foods I do chose and am an herbalist because of what happened to me, in fact I can proudly say I have helped many other cancer victims, become survivors. My problem is that the adhesions, and radiation burns from 1983 are manifesting despite my best efforts.was thinking of using aloe internally. I also now do the Relay for Life events, which I would not do at first, now I find being with other survivors gives HOPE.
thanks all.

Landlords from hell?

We have some serious issues with our landlords and tonight was the final straw when one of them screamed and yelled at me calling me a "f-ing fat stupid white trash hippy piece of sh#t. They have hired contractors who have deficated in our yard, called a neighber a f@ggot; illegally disposed of asbestos by dumping it in our yard (we called the EPA for that one); put holes in our walls, floors and ceilings; let the dogs in the building out; left our bakdoor open numerous times; come in while I'm in the shower; have never given us notice let alone 24 hrs notice; let a gas leak go unattended for 2 wks until the fire department had to come out; cut through our pipes so that we have been without cold water, hot water or either for as much as 3 days; people have gone through our things and we don't have any heat! I have contacted Community Housing and attorneys (as have the other 8 tenants in the building) but we always get different answers. Can someone please help us?
I pay my rent on time each month (we have never been late in the 2.5 years that we have lived here). And we have contacted everyone that I can think of...I just need more resources and perhaps a different perspective on this horrible situation. All of the other tenants are in agreement and we are all keeping a log. Each organization with which we speak gives us a different answer though.

if passive smoking causes lung cancer how many pets have died from passive smoking?

All over the world studies the effects of passive smoking on the human population. It has been proven in these studies. What about our pets. I have yet to see a study into the effects of passive smoking on pets. So is it that all these so called studies are right or is it that to many health officals gave up smoking and now preaches to us.. I for once would like to see a study on pets.. Does anybody know of a study like this

who benefitted from 9/11 most???

LARRY SILVERSTEIN - months prior to 9/11
gained control of 3 buildings (yes even the mysterious #7 Building) and
was responsible for a costly asbestos removal for the buildings. Would have cost over 1 Billion dollars
1 BILLION DOLLAR COST

Before 9-11 -- Efforted TO REWORK HIS INSURANCE POLICY TO SPECIFICALLY COVER AGAINST TERRORISTS ATTACKS

RECIEVED 7 BILLION DOLLARS
from insurers!!!
From original 15 million dollar investment

= = = project for New America Century - September 2000
"unless there was a new pearl harbor"

DICK CHENNEY -
Haliburton
Arms Industry
U.S Oil companies -- (bush's family business)
Bush administration
Larry silerstein even said on national T.V. that firefighters decided to "DUMP" his building #7

But that same type of demolition would have had months of development and planning.
Yet he claims they dropped it in one day -- perfectly as it came down.

7 billion dollars for a 15 million dollar investment.
Plus he didnt have to worry about the 1 billion asbestos removal cost

How would I know if my mom is dying from cancer?

My mom was diagnosed with Uterine and Ovarian cancer a little over one month ago. She had surgery about two weeks ago to remove the very large tumor (was larger than a grapefruit) and all of her reproductive organs. Right now, she seems to be recovering fairly well from the surgery, but I am very confused about everything because I have not received any information from her doctors on her prognosis and I just don't know a whole lot about this sort of thing.
We are going on Monday to talk with her surgeon about the results of the surgery. Before she had the surgery, the doctor had said he believes her cancer may be in a late stage and already in the lymph nodes. We'll find out on Monday, I guess.

What I want to know is how to tell....or what does it look like when someone is going to die from cancer? Could it happen suddenly? Could she be appearing to be doing ok and then suddenly die, or does it happen more slowly and what are the signs that the cancer iis soon going to kill?

Thanks.

Affordable lawyer for child support and possible custody battle from it?

I'm divorced w/ a uncontested div. w/ kids. We have shared custody and volunteered child support from him. He is no longer paying. I want to get my dorm room/bathroom really clean (scoured from top to bottom), how/what products should I use?

I wasn't sure how to go about it, but when my roommate and I moved in it was in pretty poor shape and we're tired of living with it, so we're moving all our stuff into other people's rooms for a weekend and just cleaning everything. Here are the things we have:

-linoleum flooring with asbestos =(
-painted cinder block walls (the problem with these is that they were painted kind of slipshod, which left lots of little holes that probably have dirt/dust in them, and maybe even bugs)
-painted drywall
-tile flooring in the bathroom; the filling between tiles seems to absorb water and doesn't dry for a while, which sometimes creates an odor
-windows with painted wooden frames
-a painted metal heating unit
-walls made out of some kind of composite material, probably part plastic
-fake wooden furniture--the problem here is that windexing doesn't seem to get dirt out of drawers, it just ends up pushed into a corner, and the vacuum doesn't get it too well, since there are hairs and things
-a chair with thick rough cloth covering the padded parts (I ask about this because both our chairs were stained, so we've been using coverings)
-ceramic toilet
-ceramic sink
-plastic shower curtain
-plastic shower head
-faucets and fixtures are some kind of metal that doesn't seem to rust, but has gotten dull and has a kind of white build up that we haven't been able to get off
-panelled ceilings
-window screens (is there a way to clean these without taking them down? we get fined if we get caught removing them)
-lastly, a mattress with a kind of plasticky cover; ours came with small stains, can we just windex them? we didn't want to mess up the mattresses or anything since we'll get charged

help is really appreciated; we're trying to make our room seem almost like new, and kind of remove the dirty buildup of fifty years of students living in it (yup, it's an old building). Any help is really, really appreciated; my roommate agrees with me, especially since he just noticed a water stain on the ceiling. Thanks!

Anyone order prescriptions from a Canadian Pharmacy?

Always hear about caution when ordering from Canadian Pharmacies.

Age has sent me into ED. Father and Uncle died of Prostate Cancer after so if seems to be a family thing.

Doctor had supplied samples of Viagra and it worked very well. Problem is: these pills cost $18.64 each in the U.S.A. They are available for $10.50 - supposedly original brand from a Company called Canada Drugs on line. The Generic are available even cheaper but, who knows who makes them.

Any ideas.

Thanks.
