Can An Ovarian Cyst Turn Into Ovarian Cancer?

I think I understand the fact that each month an egg is released, which the menstrual period, and sometimes the egg does not exist (will be stuck in the ovary), which is an ovarian cyst. But my question is, can an ovarian cyst / ovarian cancer lead to transform?

    I don’t think so. My mom has that, and the doctors don’t seem to worried about it. She gets them more if she drinks a lot of caffeine, so she’s advised to avoid it.

    She is in a lot of pain from them though, but she’s had them since i was a little kid, and the doctors haven’t done anything…..so likely not, but maybe there are different kinds?

    i believe that yes so cysts can become cancerous. You should get that checked out if you have it, but dont panic, just go to the doctors. thats the best thing to do.

    Yes, cysts can be cancerous. If you think you or anyone has one and have never been diagnosed with them, I would make a call. They probably won’t do much, but it’s good to go. They will usually say the size of the cyst and if it needs to be removed or not. Most don’t need removed, they go away on their own.
